The DDGC Blog has been one of the main outlets for discussions, ideas, and insights generated by members of the DDGC Collective. Since its inception in May 2017, the blog has grown in scope and continues to shift to accommodate the needs of the community. In an attempt to expand its reach and also to better account for the various conversations it hopes to stage, the current editors would like to recruit two (2) scholars to join the editorial collective of the blog.
What does the position of editorial collective member entail? In essence, it means facilitating a venue for scholars and students to share their insights about German studies, its various shapes and permutations, and the many challenges and opportunities it holds for the people it brings together. Who would be a great person for this position? We are eager to work with scholars who care about the work the DDGC collective has done in the first five years of its existence and who care about the collective’s future. We welcome scholars both with existing experience in editing or those interested in gaining experience editing a scholarly outlet. As such, we welcome expressions of interest from scholars whose work aligns with any aspect of German studies at any station of their career (i.e., grad students, contingent faculty, under-/unemployed, TT/T, etc.).
